7-Week Mindfulness with Kindness Basics
Are you interested in starting and sustaining a practice of mindfulness meditation?
At the same time, would you like to live your life more deliberately,
while learning more about Compassion and Kindness?
Then this is the right starting point for you.
The Online Course Seeds of Mindfulness is appropriate for beginners in mindfulness meditation and as well for experienced practitioners looking for a fresh review of the fundamentals of Mindfulness & Heart practices, such as Compassion and Lovingkindness; with a heavy focus on the practice so that you discover the concepts for yourself.
During the 7-weeks, 7 Sessions & 1 Half-Day Retreat, we will cover what mindfulness is, its benefits, a variety of mindfulness meditations combined with kindness practices, and how to implement it into your life to take care of:
-yourself by learning to "listen" to the body and breathing sensations,
-your mental health by being aware of your thoughts pattern,
-your emotional health by developing acceptance and Compassion for yourself,
-your relationship with others by learning how to become more aware of your emotions while offering Compassion towards yourself and others in challenging situations.
7 weekly sessions around 2 hours long, taking place over Zoom, with a 15 minutes break. Sessions are a combination of talks, guided meditations, and group sharing. The course will set you up for a continuous home meditation practice beyond the course and show you how to bring mindfulness into your daily life.
I will be available throughout the course by email, text, and video call if you need individual support. In this case, I will assist you in adjusting your mindfulness practice according to your personal needs.
Retreat (3 hours)
One session will consist of a silent retreat of 3 hours, taking place over Zoom. The retreat will be a combination of several types of guided meditations, mindful movement and personal reflections. It's an opportunity to deepen your mindfulness practice in a supportive environment.
Small class sizes of up to 6 participants will allow more personalized support and connection between group members. The personal sharing in the group is a truly enriching experience as we can all learn from and support each other during our personal mindfulness journey.
The course offers the possibility to explore a variety of guided mindfulness meditations & Heart practices such as gratitude, compassion, or walking meditation.
After each session, the guided meditations will be sent to you via email, being available for you to use between sessions and beyond the course.
After each session, you will receive guided meditations of the session and handouts with the main teaching points and supplementary materials, such as reading lists, videos or relevant websites.
